Passport Office Celebrates Thailand Visa News By Adding One More Mandatory Photocopy

NOIDA—Bureaucrats welcomed Thailand’s visa changes by announcing that Indian applicants must now also submit a childhood photograph in which they look both innocent and employable, officials said Wednesday.

Applicants at the regional office were told to return Thursday, which the calendar already marked as a holiday. One clerk explained the new rule is digital-first, then asked everyone to fill a form in triplicate because tradition is also first.
